CASE STUDY: PORTER NOVELLI

While working for Porter Novelli, a top 10 global PR network, I was responsible for overseeing all the logistics for the annual regional conferences which took place in three regions – Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa.  Each of the conferences was attended by 30-40 delegates, each of whom was either the CEO or the MD of the network member agencies. 

I worked with the Regional Director and the Global Network Director to identify and contract suitable meeting venues and accommodation. Again, working with the Regional Director and the Global Network Director, I produced the agenda and liaised with the various speakers over their presentation requirements.  I was responsible for budget management, deciding optimum room layout, delegate registration, and for keeping all attendees informed about logistical details.  I also attended several of the conferences to ensure the smooth running of the meetings.

I managed the evaluation process and provided evaluation analysis for the Global CEO, Regional Director and Global Network Director.
